# Accessibility statement

Learn about the accessibility features of afrovibrations.com — keyboard navigation, screen-reader support, zoom and reduced motion.

We want everyone to be able to find events, learn about the Vibe Tribe, and contact us independently.

## Accessibility standard

This website is designed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA in mind. Accessibility is reviewed as the website changes rather than treated as a one-time task.

## Keyboard and focus

The website can be navigated without a mouse. Interactive elements use a logical keyboard order and visible focus indicators.

A skip link moves directly to the main content. The main navigation can be opened and closed with the keyboard, including the Escape key where appropriate.

## Screen readers and page structure

Pages use language information, headings, landmarks, lists, labels and meaningful link names to make their structure easier to understand with assistive technology.

Informative images include text alternatives. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.

## Display, zoom and motion

Content adapts to different screen sizes and supports browser zoom and text reflow. Text and controls are designed for sufficient contrast against the dark background.

When reduced motion is enabled in the operating system or browser, animations and smooth scrolling are reduced.

## Forms and interactive content

Form controls have labels, required fields are identified, and submission status messages are announced to assistive technology.

Gallery album covers open Facebook albums in a new tab with clear link names. Ticket sales use an embedded third-party shop when available.

## Third-party services

The contact form may use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection, and tickets may load through VibeTix. Some parts of those experiences are provided by third parties. If they prevent you from completing a task, contact us directly by email or telephone.
