# Bun Xapa

DJ | Producer

Born and raised in South Africa, Bun Xapa is a DJ and producer whose Afro House sound draws on indigenous textures — djembe, mbira, kora, soukous — alongside contemporary club energy.
He started DJing in 2012 and later shaped his own productions in the spirit of Afro House pioneers. In 2019 he connected with Angolan label Seres Produções (DJ Satelite), built residency experience in Porto, and has played stages including Village Underground in Lisbon. With AfroVibrations he brings that spiritual, groove-led Afro House energy to Cologne’s Vibe Tribe nights.
